So Im sitting here at the office and i go to the printer. ZAP!!! I discharge static electricity and jump back when i come near that thing! >.<

Then later on i went to the sink to wash my hands, zap! ahhhh!!!

Anyone else have trouble with buildup of static electricity ~_~ Our floors are carpeted...and its ruining my hair

Is it dry where you are? That could very well be the cause.

Dry? Well it hasnt rained in a while...not heavily anyway. We have those brush fire warnings o.o

Sadly, the jacket I like to wear out to the store builds up static exceptionally well. While I pick up groceries, I get zapped from touching objects frequently, including the freezer door handles, the car, the shopping cart, the shelves... Well, you can guess where this is going.

But I can always take the jacket off. If the entire floor were a static magnet, I think I'd go insane x_x

During the winter, I come home, take off my polartech jacket, and if I'm in a bad mood, shock the hell out of someone.

Edit: By the way Mercury, I hit the button, but it didn't work. Do I have to be in a stance, or hexed?
